amos - Posted on 28 August 2008

FACT: The first Labor Day was celebrated to honor the efforts of United 4-Square Players Union, Local 407 to improve conditions in 4-Square sweatshops in 1887.

FACT: 4-Square players have been the backbone of organized labor ever since. 74% of all union members in America play 4-Square.

FACT: Labor Day is the last day you can wear white on the court.

THEREFORE: We'll be kicking it up the Saturday, the 30th of August, from 1 to 3, at the corner of Summer and Craigie in Somerville. See you there.
