POSTPONED! Somerville Mayor to Recognize New Men's World Champion
This event has been postponed due to the Somerville Aldermen budget discussion at City Hall! we'll be back in touch when the event is rescheduled.
The Mayor of the City of Somerville, Joseph A. Curtatone, will recognize and congratulate the new Mens World Champion of Four Square, Chris Glasser, on June 11, 2009, at 7PM at the Board of Aldermen meeting at the Somerville City Hall. In case you have forgotten, Chris Glasser took home Squarefour's first Mens World Champion title at the annual competition held in February each year in Bridgton, ME. Chris battled 100 other competitors from all over the country.

The mayor has promised me a citation! Yes, it sounds like I'll be receiving a $25 fine, but in fact, I've been assured it's nothing along those lines. They'll probably give me a bunch of booze and name a park after me -- it'll be that kind of citation.
